My name is Lexie, Lex or even Hey you,
I am the one making all the different facial expressions behind the camera.
I am the one making all the different facial expressions behind the camera.
If I owned one dollar or a million I would still live for my camera. The memories I can create and the reality I can capture is what I strive for. I don’t like stuffy sessions, I want laughter, tears, and real moments.
A little about me before I go to the technical. When I decide I want to do something, I wanted to do it yesterday ( drives my husband crazy.) I have been married to this patient man for almost 7 years. I love to travel, my favorites to date are Hawaii, Iceland, Chicago and British Columbia. As much as I love going to new places I still think my home of Saskatchewan has the best sunsets. When I do travel to a new country one of my favorite places to see is the grocery stores. Pretty big thing about me is I am Mom to three awesome girls, who are all going to be way cooler than me. And finally I am addicted to going to crossfit, it may be the need to feel stronger or the awesome community I get to be a part of.

Most moments are captured outside of the studio in a comfortable setting, but I have a strong appreciation for studio photos. I am not big on overly elaborate sets, I prefer a simplistic look so that it doesn’t take away from what I am capturing.
During my sessions, I will offer direction in posing and expression, but I won’t pose you finger for finger. I want my clients to look and feel like a awesome version of themselves.
I often crack cheesy or awkward jokes, just roll your eyes and give me a laugh, I am okay with being a little odd. It makes me, me.
I have owned my photography business for over 9 years, and am third year offering videography. If you are interested in my work, or have any questions for me, I am happy to chat with you.
Just one last note, I am a mom of 3 (wild, sassy, sweet, energetic) girls 7 and under. They sometimes demand attention, and cause me to fall behind on my messages. Please don’t be offended if I take a day or two to reply, I am not ignoring you, but if it’s urgent give me a call or text.
